Supervised Homes
Community Living Corporation provides safe, inclusive, and supportive housing for individuals with developmental disabilities through our residential programs. These residences offer 24/7 assistance with daily living tasks, ensuring each resident receives the personalized support they need to thrive and feel empowered.
Our supervised homes may be in traditional single-family houses, condominiums, or apartment buildings. The classification of the residence is determined by the level of supervision, teaching, and support provided, not the physical structure. Our largest supervised residence accommodates twelve residents, while our smallest has three.
Many of our residents participate in our Day Habilitation program or other local community programs during the day, enjoying a variety of engaging, educational, and social activities. Our residential sites are thoughtfully located throughout Westchester County to best meet the unique needs of the individuals we support; while ensuring they have access to all the resources and fun opportunities in their local communities.
Supported Homes
Community Living Corporation operates 28 supported living locations, primarily in Mount Kisco and the Cortlandt/Peekskill area. These homes are designed for individuals who can live semi-independently, performing many daily tasks with minimal assistance. Residents in our supported homes typically have jobs or participate in community programs, with staff support provided on an as-needed basis.
Our supported homes are in welcoming, community-oriented condominium or cooperative apartment complexes, where three or four residents live together in a socially compatible setting. Our CLC staff offers the right balance of support, guidance, and oversight to ensure each home is a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable space for everyone.
Each supported living experience is highly individualized, with services tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the residents. We pride ourselves on fostering independence, confidence, and connection, while ensuring residents have access to all the community amenities they enjoy. All our supported homes are conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy for residents to explore local shopping, recreation, and social activities, adding to their vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.
Day Habilitation Services
At Community Living Corporation, we offer Without Walls Day Habilitation services for individuals enrolled in the Home and Community-Based Services Waiver. Our community programs are all about creating fun, meaningful experiences that match each participant’s unique interests and boost their quality of life!
Every weekday, we offer a variety of exciting activities that encourage independence, social skills, and overall well-being. Our Without Walls program takes participants out into the community, so they can explore, learn, and connect with others in new and engaging ways.
From collaborative projects and cooking classes to light exercise and mindfulness practices, our programs are designed to spark creativity, promote healthy living, and help participants build new skills and relationships. Every experience is tailored to empower individuals and make sure they have a blast while growing and thriving!
